Award winning author on jury for Iris Prize
3 Sep 2010The Festivals Company is very excited to announce the support of award winning author Alan Hollinghurst and the director of the British Council Wales Rebecca Matthews as judges to decide the Iris Prize winner 2010! Alan won the Man Booker Prize in 2004 for his novel The Line of Beauty.
The Iris Prize Festival which runs from the 6 – 9 of October 2010 in Cardiff, Wales is the world’s largest gay and lesbian short film awards and offers a prize for the winner, which is generously sponsored by the UK post-production sector, to allow the winner to make their next short film in the UK.

The Iris Prize Festival which includes contestants from Brazil, Hong Kong, London, San Francisco and Sydney to name but a few aims to unite and promote young film makers from around the world by giving people a chance to see and experience pure talent.
