Celtic Media Festival
The Festivals Company was engaged as content producer for the 28th Celtic Media Festival which took place in Skye, Scotland over three days at the end of March. The Celtic Media Festival aims to promote the languages and cultures of the Celtic countries on screen and in broadcasting. Tessa Jowell, then Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport (pictured above with Celtic Media Festival Chair, Maggie Cunningham) was the keynote speaker. She was joined by more than 30 other speakers participating in some 20 sessions during the three day event which took place in Skye, Scotland.
"The Festivals Company joined the core team of the event at a busy and crucial time and brought to the table years of experience and contacts. Within a short space of time, working from their Cardiff base, the festival programme was complete and the quality of speakers secured for the individual session was impressive", said Jude MacLaverty, Festival Producer.
