Made in Wales: Doctor Who, Talking Heads: On Promoting Democracy, The Future of Journalism, Keynote Lecture: George Monbiot, and The 2050 Cookbook are now available to view online and audio versions will shortly be available to download for free from iTunes.

As well as the opportunity to view the sessions in full you can also watch exclusive interviews with some of the festival guests conducted by students from Cardiff University and the University of Glamorgan.

The festival organisers worked with lecturers from Cardiff and Glamorgan to find seven students who would be given unique access to the festival guests. Under the wing of former Daily Mail journalist Andrew Gurney the students produced and conducted a series of interviews with some of the festival guests, which are available to view on the Pierhead Sessions TV section of the festival website.

Craig Wilson"I found the experience of working on Pierhead Sessions TV invaluable" said University of Glamorgan student Craig Wilson. "I thoroughly enjoyed the three days, and was very grateful to the National Assembly for Wales for providing us with this unique opportunity to interview some of the guests."

"The students were a joy to work with and coming from a cynical old journalist like me that’s saying something," said Andrew Gurney. "Just by watching the films you can see how rewarding it was for them, and they did a great job interviewing the guests."

Pierhead Sessions TV is produced by The Festivals Company on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales in partnership with Multistream, Piccadilly, Andrew Gurney, Tall Man Films, Cardiff University and University of Glamorgan.

"The inaugural Pierhead Sessions celebrated the 10th year of the National Assembly for Wales on its estate of public buildings on Cardiff Bay, and through the fantastic work of the students, and by capturing the sessions to view online, we have ensured that the festival will have a lasting legacy that can be seen by people throughout Wales, and the world" said Dafydd Elis-Thomas AC/AM Presiding Officer.
