Welcome Emma!

The Festivals Company has announced the appointment of a new member of staff as Emma Lionel joins the company as an events management assistant.

"Emma joins the company at an exciting time. The company has a number of established projects which are growing and developing as well as new projects joining our portfolio," said Berwyn Rowlands, Managing Director.

"During a very busy summer Emma has already helped the company increase capacity and become an invaluable member of our team," he added.

Originally from Aberystwyth, Emma took a year out before going to University to spend 6 months travelling and teaching at a school in India, an experience she thoroughly enjoyed. She graduated from Cardiff University in 2009 with a First Class degree in International Business Management.

"I am very excited to be starting my working life at The Festivals Company, I have always had an interest in events management and with a number of The Festival Company’s projects having an international element I also have the opportunity to expand on the experience gained during my degree," said Emma.

"Being involved in a variety of different events and projects at The Festivals Company means that every day is different and interesting," she added.
