Friends back on TV!
17 Dec 2007Friends of Iris – the latest production by the Festivals Company will screen on ITV 1 Wales on 20 December 2007. The half hour programme is a profile of the Iris Prize Festival which took place in Cardiff in October 2007.
The festival brought together a global network of gay and lesbian film festivals and film makers to celebrate the best in LGBT cinema and award the largest short film prize for a gay and lesbian short film – the Iris Prize valued at £25,000.
Friends of Iris includes clips from the 30 short-listed films, interviews with competing film makers (pictured above) and members of the international jury who had to select the winner.
Facilities used during the production were supplied by Tall Man Films, Barcud Derwen, Goleudu and Sounds in Motion.
Friends of Iris is produced by the Festivals Company and will screen on ITV 1 Wales on Thursday 20 December 2007 at 11.35pm.
