Presented by Hywel James the programmes followed the competition from the initial public vote through to the announcement of the top ten and the nail-biting finally when the Sopna, near Caernarfon was crowned the National winner at an awards ceremony held at the Senedd in Cardiff Bay.
"We are delighted to be working once again with ITV Wales. As one of the principal broadcasters in Wales they are well placed to secure maximum coverage for the competition. The exposure secured for the inaugural competition was incredible. In a short space of time everybody knew about the competition proving that in Wales we share our passion for rugby with our love of curry," said Berwyn Rowlands, Festivals Company.
The Welsh Curry House of the Year 2008 competition will be officially launched at the end of November 2007 and the wining restaurant announced in March 2008.
