Tessa Jowell on demand!
17 Apr 2007The Festivals Company has completed work for the 28th Celtic Media Festival producing the festival programme. Tessa Jowell, Secretary of State for Culture, Media and Sport (pictured above with Celtic Media Festival Chair, Maggie Cunningham) was the keynote speaker. She was joined by more than 30 other speakers participating in some 20 sessions during the three day event which took place in Skye, Scotland.
"The Festivals Company joined the core team of the event at a busy and crucial time and brought to the table years of experience and contacts. Within a short space of time, working from their Cardiff base, the festival programme was complete and the quality of speakers secured for the individual session was impressive", said Jude MacLaverty, Festival Producer (pictured left).
"Berwyn and James were also invaluable during the event itself in Portree. They worked seamlessly with our small but experienced team, co-ordinating speakers from Dublin, London, Edinburgh and Cardiff. Having them on board to produce the sessions from inception through to the delivery on the main stage was invaluable," she added.
